| My friend Karen planned a super fun "Science Activities" day at her house and took the kids through various experiments. We tried making a watermelon explode by wrapping it with rubber bands around the middle. After 447 rubber bands, it blew up! It was so fun! |

| They used newspaper, straws and tape to construct a protective case for an egg...the goal was to be able to drop it inside the case from a certain height and not have it break. |

| They built boats out of foil and tried to load them up with as many pennies as possible before they sank. The winning boat held 148 pennies! |
