A Friday in the Fall

Farm Field Trip

I'm ready for a hayride!

It was a beautiful day.

Elijah wasn't too keen on the livestock -- such a city boy.

They called this "painting" a pumpkin.

Hay Maze!

Inside the corn maze. I can't imagine how scary this could be at night!

Fun Fall Days

A beautiful new playground just opened up in Cranberry Township...we had a blast!

Elijah loves climbing rock walls!

Peek-a-boo!!

Some friends from church. Left to right: Elijah, Caleb, Maranda and Ava.  This place is a giant indoor jungle gym with balls you can shoot from cannons. It has a really tall slide and it's free to get in every Thursday. This will help get us through cabin fever this winter.

I'm not sure if I've ever shown you a pic of our house. Here it is!

My pastor's wife brought us these from her garden...since we don't like tomatoes! Gladiolas...so beautiful!

First day of school. He wasn't nervous at all and didn't shed a tear or act shy when I dropped him off.

super excited!

In his classroom.

Birthday and More!

We are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

We are tough!!

Raphael is Elijah's favorite.

Conrad is Leonardo.

Buddies sitting in their jammies.

Elijah got this cool birthday present from Uncle Joe and Aunt Janice. You can take the pieces apart and build all sorts of things. So fun!

The amazing playland at McDonalds.

4 years old!!!  He had a pirate birthday party.

Where be the treasure me mateys? Arrrrr!

I think I see Captain Hook!

Just like grandfather!

This was Labor Day. One of our family's favorite activities is finding new playgrounds. We were bored, so we searched the internet and found this gem near the Pittsburgh Zoo. They call it the Super Playground and it was constructed by community volunteers in 5 days!  It is soooo fun!

A beautiful tunnel in Highland Park near the Zoo.

Elijah took this one!

Highland Park reminded us of some of the parks in Paris. What a great discovery we made!
